The Bug Lab

Welcome!

The Bug Lab is a bug museum and educational company. Our bug museum is open to the public. In addition,we specialize in delivering biology programs for students, homelearners and nature groups.

When you visit The Bug Lab museum you become a Junior Entomologist, a scientist who studies insects.  Students and bug lovers (adults too) trade their coat for a lab jacket and a clipboard and study the bugs in the lab.  We have live and preserved insects, scorpions, spiders, millipedes, centipedes and other bugs on display. We also have games, puzzles, activities, multiple worksheets for multiple ages and learning abilities, books and educational materials in our museum. If you like bugs and want to meet other bug-enthusiasts, we'd like to meet you.

We offer professional development workshops for teachers and longer term programs for schools through our "Junior Entomologist Program". We sell bug theme merchandise online and in our gift shop. We do not sell live bugs.

Mission Statement

To educate and raise ecological awareness about insects, arachnids, and other terrestrial invertebrates, teach the importance of conservation and a healthy respect for these animals and the habitats in which they live.
